My second-favourite drawing from yesterday.
Character sketches of some 50’s American teenagers for a little sequence I’m boarding at the moment.
Pencil on paper.
I completely forgot about this poster I drew up for the department last semester until I found it on my hard drive just now.
I wanted to make an original image of George that didn’t just look like fan art, which was pretty challenging. John himself didn’t realise it wasn’t an actual Disney image at first, which was about as flattering as you can imagine.
Some sketches of the Demon Lord Agrodon, trying to work some things out.
Pencil, ink, marker and gel pen on paper
Sketches of Fjelnir’s Pedestal of Souls and the Black Anvil of Vulcor
Pencil and ink on paper with digital highlights
It’s so much fun coming up with names for this stuff.
A delayed concept drawing of Percival, Gregor and Keiser.
Pencil, pen and ink with digital colours.
On Thursday I got to visit the Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank for the 2013 Inspire Day. I’d try to describe what an awesome experience it was but wouldn’t be able to do it justice. All I want to do right now is draw. Thanks so much to Disney for giving me the opportunity!
I drew this a few weeks ago but forgot to put it up. It’s a sketch I did for my friend Bryn imagining what her senior film character might look like.
Pencil, from my sketch book.
I was playing New Super Mario Bros. on the plane back from Portland when I realised how much I love Bowser Jr.’s design. Thought it’d be fun to pose him around.
Coloured pencil and white gel pen, from my sketchbook.
